What does Kiron do without asking me?

It reads everything, and it acts on what it finds. A certificate expiring in thirty days gets a renewal request, then two follow-ups. A bid request nobody answered gets chased. An invoice that doesn't match what you signed is flagged, and the sub is asked to explain or correct it. What it never does without your approval: pay anything, approve an invoice, or change anything in your mailbox or your other software. You choose, per type of message, whether Kiron sends on its own or drafts it for you to approve.

What happens when a sub doesn't reply?

Kiron follows up. Then it follows up again and copies the office. If that still gets nothing, it escalates to you with one line: what stalls if nobody answers, and by when. When the reply lands, Kiron reads it, closes the loop, and it shows up in your next brief under 'handled'. You never opened the thread.

What is Today's Brief?

One email every morning covering all your active jobs: who is blocked waiting on you, what money is due this week, which vendors have gone quiet, where documents disagree, and what changed on each project. It is compiled overnight from your project correspondence and documents, ranked by consequence, and readable on a phone in under three minutes.

Do I have to update anything to keep it accurate?

No — that is the point. There are no fields to fill in, no daily logs to write, and no schedule to keep in sync. Kiron reads the email and documents your team and your subs already send. If nobody logs in for a week, the brief is still correct.

Ella is the AI agent behind the brief. She reads every quote, invoice, change order, and email thread, ties them to a project and a vendor, and tracks whether what was promised actually happened. You can reply to any brief to ask her a follow-up, and she answers from your own records with the source document attached.

Will Kiron read my personal email?

No. Every new thread is checked against your jobs before anything is kept — the project address (2100 Marsh Rd), the subs and vendors working on it, and the documents attached to the thread. Mail that isn't about your construction work is dropped on arrival — never indexed, never surfaced in your brief, and never used to answer a question; Kiron records only the decision to skip it. Your bank statements, your kids' school email, your accountant — none of it is stored with your project records or used by Ella. Inbox access is read-only: Kiron never changes anything in your mailbox. When it follows up with a sub, it sends from its own Kiron address with you copied, never from yours. You can revoke inbox access from your own Google or Microsoft admin console at any moment. If you would rather Kiron never touch your mailbox at all, don't connect it: forward or CC only the threads you choose to your unique Kiron address, or set one rule in Gmail or Outlook so mail from your subs and vendors forwards itself. That forwarded mail is then the only mail Kiron ever sees. Plenty of builders start that way and connect an inbox later, once they trust it.

Where does the brief show up?

It meets you where you are. The brief arrives in your inbox and reads top to bottom on a phone in under three minutes — that is the morning read, and it comes to you. When you want to go deeper on something it flagged, the Kiron web and iPhone apps hold the source documents, the full project history, and Ella. Text delivery is coming.

How does Kiron integrate with my workflow?

Kiron monitors your Gmail or Outlook project inbox, or you can forward documents to your unique Kiron address. It runs alongside Buildertrend, Procore, JobTread, or spreadsheets and replaces none of them. Google Drive, Slack, Teams, and more integrations are coming soon.

What types of documents does Ella process?

Quotes, invoices, change orders, lien waivers, certificates of insurance, contracts, permits, inspection logs, delivery slips, photos, and plans — PDFs, scans, spreadsheets, any format. Plus audio and text notes from the field: talk on your way back to the truck and Kiron pulls out the decisions, matches each to the sub it concerns, and drafts the message.

How long does it take to see results?

Connect your inbox and Kiron can begin surfacing the first unanswered decisions, document conflicts, and open loops in about 30 minutes. Ella keeps reading back through the correspondence already there overnight, so your complete first brief lands the next morning full rather than empty. Is my project data secure?

Yes. Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, processed solely for your account, and never shared with other customers. You retain full ownership of your data, and your records are not used to train models for other customers.
